Overview

Grant of up to $15,000 available when securing a loan guarantee of up to $150,000 from La Financière agricole for agribusiness projects in productions other than beef cattle, sheep, or goat production. Supports construction/renovation of buildings, production equipment, perennial plants or breeding stock, agri-environmental land enhancement, water supply/irrigation work, and on-farm agri-environmental projects.

Who can apply

  • Quebec agribusinesses in supply-managed production
  • projects must relate to productions other than beef cattle, sheep, or goat production, and must be paired with a loan guarantee of up to $150,000 from La Financière agricole.
  • Project must increase production volume, performance or profitability, comply with animal welfare and/or organic production standards or new agri-food requirements, improve land under cultivation, and adopt agri-environmental practices.
