Overview

Grant of up to $150,000 for Quebec agri-businesses in beef cattle, sheep or goat production, available when the applicant secures a loan guarantee of up to $600,000 from La Financière agricole. Funds construction/renovation of buildings, production equipment, breeding stock or perennial plants, agri-environmental land improvements, and water supply/irrigation work.

Who can apply

  • Quebec agri-businesses undertaking projects related to beef cattle, sheep or goat production
  • must secure a loan guarantee of up to $600,000 from La Financière agricole.
  • Project must increase production volume, performance or profitability, comply with animal welfare and/or organic production standards or new agri-food requirements, improve land under cultivation, and adopt agri-environmental practices.
