Overview

Not-for-profit organizations can receive a contribution toward the costs of incremental improvements, repairs and/or renovations to social and recreational facilities that contribute to a healthy and vibrant community and to economic development in Northern Ontario.

Who can apply

  • Not-for-profit organizations in rural Northern Ontario communities
  • funding tiers differ for communities under 1,500 population and Indigenous communities versus communities over 1,500.
  • Projects must involve improvements, repairs or renovations to social and recreational facilities, municipal assets or community halls.
