INVEST North Program - Innovation - Industrial Research Chair

Funding to establish and enhance research capacity at Northern Ontario universities, colleges, and research institutions so the region benefits from research that transforms its key economic sectors and helps attract and retain highly qualified personnel.

• Northern Ontario universities and colleges, or Northern Ontario research institutions defined as not-for-profit organizations whose primary activity is scientific research and which are formally affiliated with a Northern Ontario post-secondary institution.
• Applicant must be within the eligible Northern Ontario region.
