Overview

Wage subsidy for agricultural producers, food processors and agriculture-related organizations that hire youth for agricultural projects. Covers at least 50% of wages up to $14,000 per employee, plus up to $5,000 per employee for relocation costs.

Who can apply

  • Must be an agricultural-related organization such as a farmer, food processor or other non-governmental organization able to offer work opportunities to Canadian youth
  • must provide Certificates or Articles of Incorporation
  • hired youth must meet eligibility criteria in the applicant guide.
