Overview

Contribution of up to $250,000, provided through 1 of 3 streams, for the production, digital distribution and promotion of a first feature-length film longer than 75 minutes. Covers direct expenses relating to production and post-production.

Who can apply

  • For new/first-time filmmakers producing a first feature-length film longer than 75 minutes.
  • Project must have a complete insurance package including an Errors & Omissions policy satisfactory to Telefilm, be made available in both official languages (subtitled or dubbed), be closed-captioned and available in described video, with sufficient funds reserved in the production budget for these elements.
