Overview

Support for R&D projects where a business partners with a university researcher and makes a cash or in-kind contribution to a project that benefits Canada. Grants range from $20,000 to $1,000,000 and cover up to 66.7% of eligible costs.

Who can apply

  • Requires partnership with a university researcher.
  • At least one partner recognized for cost-sharing must make a cash contribution per the applicable ratio (two to one or one to one)
  • at least one partner must have demonstrated ability to exploit research results
  • other partners must be actively involved with at least an in-kind contribution.
  • Project must benefit Canada.
