Overview

Eligible not-for-profit organizations could receive up to $5 million per project over three years, covering up to 90% of the costs to bring new AI technologies to market and accelerate the adoption of AI in critical sectors such as agriculture, clean technology, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Who can apply

  • Not-for-profit organizations that assist AI businesses, innovators or entrepreneurs in the Prairies (start-up development, growth, productivity, commercialization, technology adoption, export/investment attraction)
  • must be a legal entity capable of entering binding agreements with an operating presence in the Prairies.
  • Projects need minimum technology readiness level 7 or adopt AI-based solutions and address at least one priority area (advanced manufacturing, clean resources, clean technology, digital industries, health/bio-sciences, natural resources value-added processing, value-added agriculture, inclusiveness).
