Overview

Repayable funding for for-profit businesses in the Prairie provinces to bring new AI technologies to market and accelerate adoption of AI in critical sectors such as agriculture, clean technology, healthcare and manufacturing. Up to $5 million per project over three years, covering up to 50% of eligible costs.

Who can apply

  • For-profit business incorporated to conduct business in Canada
  • at least one full-time employee
  • minimum two years in operation
  • operates facilities in the Prairie provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba).
  • Project must be at technology readiness level 7 or adopting AI-based solutions and focus on at least one priority area: advanced manufacturing, clean resources, clean technology, digital industries, health/bio-sciences, natural resources value-added processing, value-added agriculture, or inclusiveness.
