Overview

Grant covering up to 45% of eligible expenses for collaborative projects focused on genetics, crops, ingredients and products in the plant protein value chain. Collaborators must be Protein Industries Canada members (annual membership fee $500).

Who can apply

  • Must be a consortium of at least two Protein Industries Canada members (annual membership $500), with at least one SME partner, at least two members contributing financially, and at least two partner Canadian companies or multinational corporations.
  • Project must align with Protein Industries Canada and Global Innovation Cluster objectives and benefit the agriculture, food and feed sectors.
