Production Program - Indigenous Stream

Contribution or equity investment covering up to 30% of the production costs of a fictional, feature-length film. An additional $100,000 may be available if the project budget is under $2.5 million and it is shot in a remote location or includes training/mentoring of Indigenous production talent.

• In addition to the main Applicant and Project Eligibility of the Production program: at least 51% of the project's copyright must be held by a production company majority-owned and controlled by Indigenous persons
• the project must be under the financial and creative control of Indigenous persons
• and two of the three key creative team members (producer, director or screenwriter) must be Indigenous.
• Project must be a fictional, feature-length film.
