Overview

Funding for SMEs to accelerate the development of sustainable aeronautical technologies, promote cross-sectoral collaboration and drive innovation toward a more environmentally friendly future in aerospace. Collaborative projects must involve one SME and another distinct organization, and must be at TRL-3 to TRL-7 within one of four pillars: hybrid and alternative propulsion, aircraft architecture and systems integration, transition to alternative fuels, and aircraft support infrastructure and operations.

Who can apply

  • Must be an SME incorporated with activities in Canada
  • must demonstrate commercialization potential and financial capacity to carry out the project.
  • Each collaborative project must include one SME plus another distinct organization (another SME or large enterprise, academic institution, airport, or not-for-profit).
  • Project must be at TRL-3 to TRL-7 and contribute to at least one of four sustainable aviation pillars.
