Overview

Financing of up to $350,000 covering up to 50% of the costs of demonstrating the commercial feasibility of innovative natural products or technologies, for researchers, startups and SMEs. Products must be biologically-based, leveraging or enhancing naturally-occurring molecules (from plants, trees, insects, animals, bacteria or microbes).

Who can apply

  • Researchers, startups and SMEs working on biologically-based natural products or technologies.
  • SMEs and startups should have growth potential to reach $10M-$15M in annual revenue
  • project must show technical feasibility, potential for commercialization in Canada, and significant economic, social, health and/or environmental benefits.
  • Applicant must be a member of Natural Products Canada.
