Overview

Grants covering 100% of project costs for R&D and beta testing of a technology or application prior to commercialization, undertaken in partnership with an eligible academic institution. Aimed at advancing promising technologies with recognized technology transfer potential toward the market.

Who can apply

  • Requires partnership with an eligible academic institution.
  • The project must propose a sufficiently mature technology, have a clearly identified and well-described potential market, have recognized technology transfer potential, and (for phase 2 projects) be associated with a recognized partner.
  • Applications are submitted through NSERC's online system
