Compensation for Employers of Reservists Program

Financial assistance for civilian employers of reservists or self-employed reservists to offset operational costs incurred when reservists deploy on full-time operational duty, domestically and abroad.

• Civilian employers of a reservist who is a member of the Primary Reserve or Canadian Rangers deployed for a minimum of 30 days on a Chief of Defence Staff directed operation and who worked for the employer at least 30 hours/week for 3 consecutive months prior to the leave
• or self-employed reservists deployed for a minimum of 30 days on such an operation.
• Applications must be submitted no later than 12 months after the reservist's return from active duty.
