Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI)

Provides BC licensed child-care providers with up to $900 per month (plus top-up funding for eligible applicants) to reduce and stabilize the monthly child care fees parents pay for full-time care. Amounts depend on the type of care and the age of the children; pro-rated amounts are available for part-time care.

Must be a BC licensed child-care provider approved by the Ministry to receive CCOF Base Funding, provide care in the Parent Fee Reduction Eligible Care Categories, remain enrolled for the duration of the CCOF funding agreement, notify parents of fee reductions (and staff of approved fee increases tied to wage increases), and agree to reporting requirements.
