Yukon Nominee Program

Provides assistance to Yukon employers to submit applications nominating qualified foreign nationals for employment and permanent residence in Canada, where attempts to hire locally or nationally have been unsuccessful in filling permanent, full-time positions.

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Canada and operate in Yukon as: a registered Yukon business with a Yukon office for at least one year prior to application on a full-time basis
• an industry association with a Yukon office for at least one year
• or a non-profit operating a minimum of three years with funding secured for at least one year after application.
• Must hold current, valid licenses under all applicable federal, territorial and municipal requirements.
• Currently only employers in rural Yukon communities may apply due to program limits.
