Overview

Loans of up to $50,000 for women-owned businesses in British Columbia to start, scale, grow or maintain their business, delivered by WeBC in partnership with the Women's Enterprise Organizations of Canada (WEOC) National Loan Fund. Applicants work with a WeBC Business Advisor to prepare a business plan and 24 months of financial projections, and loan clients receive free wrap-around advisory services, training and mentoring.

Who can apply

  • Business must be over 50% woman-owned, with less than $2 million in gross annual revenues
  • owned by a Canadian citizen or a legal entity owned and controlled by a Canadian citizen
  • applicant must be at least 19 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident residing in Canada, and located in BC
  • must have a business plan including cash flow forecasts for a minimum of two years.
