Overview

Financial assistance for non-profits to research and develop new cultural tourism products in Prince Edward Island. Does not fund ongoing marketing, operations or staffing.

Who can apply

  • Restricted to non-profits: a non-profit developing tourism events, or a non-profit theatre with a minimum of 150 seats.
  • Projects must support PEI tourism strategy goals, attract visitors from outside PEI, encourage longer stays especially off-peak, demonstrate ROI, community/private sector support and a plan to reduce reliance on government funding.
  • Ongoing marketing, operations and staffing are not eligible.
