Overview

Refundable tax credit on eligible payroll for corporations creating employment in Gaspésie and certain maritime regions of Quebec: 30% for marine biotechnology, mariculture and recreational/tourism activities, and 15% for all other eligible activities. An initial qualification certificate from Investissement Québec is required.

Who can apply

  • Corporations operating in eligible activities in Gaspésie and selected maritime regions of Quebec
  • must obtain an initial qualification certificate from Investissement Québec.
  • Eligible regions for seafood processing include the Matapédia, La Mitis and Rimouski-Neigette RCMs in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
