Overview

Enhanced loan options for fruit and vegetable producers in Nova Scotia to support investments in greenhouses, cold storage, irrigation, and energy-efficient heating and lighting to extend the growing season. Approved applicants receive a 0.50% interest-rate reduction for the full loan term.

Who can apply

  • Applicants must be eligible and approved for funding under the Season Extension Enhancement Program
  • claimed funds from that program must be assigned to the Farm Loan Board to benefit from the interest-rate reduction
  • must be eligible for Farm Loan Board financing and satisfy all other lending criteria.
  • Fruit and vegetable producers in Nova Scotia.
