Organic Certification Rebate Program

Rebate of up to $750 covering up to 50% of eligible expenses to encourage Nova Scotia farms to become certified organic and to support farms that have already made the changes needed to be certified organic.

Must own a farm (or be a Mi'kmaq conducting farming activities in a Mi'kmaw community), be certified organic in Nova Scotia at time of application, be current and properly registered under the Farm Registration Act, be at least 19 years of age, a resident of Nova Scotia, and actively farming in the program year.
