Ontario Junior Exploration Program

Contribution funding for non-producing junior mining companies in Ontario to cover eligible costs of projects that boost mineral exploration, growth and job creation, particularly in northern and Indigenous communities.

Must be a non-producing junior mining company registered to conduct business in Ontario, with market capitalization up to $100 million (or comparable value if private), a valid Certificate of Insurance, proof of funds to cover 100% of total project costs, enrolment in the Mining Lands Administration System with necessary mining claims tenure, and a valid exploration plan and/or permit under the Mining Act.
