Overview

Loans of up to $250,000 for Metis-owned small businesses in Manitoba to support start-up, acquisition or expansion. Certain project costs may also be eligible for grant funding as part of the financing package (maximum grant $99,999).

Who can apply

  • Business must have at least 51% Metis ownership with a valid MMF citizenship card
  • applicant must reside in Manitoba
  • one principal Metis owner must be actively involved in day-to-day operations.
  • Project cost must exceed $40,000 unless the applicant is an existing business expanding.
