Overview

Provides up to $32,000 covering up to 80% of eligible expenses to defray the cost of trucking limestone, improve production efficiencies and neutralize soil acidity on agricultural land in Nova Scotia.

Who can apply

  • Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, have a farm registered under a current Farm Registration, and have a current soil analysis or Nutrient Management Plan (within 3 years).
  • Alternatively, an Agriculture Industry Association representing identifiable Nova Scotia agriculture and agri-food products with not-for-profit status may apply.
