Overview

Funding for economic infrastructure, sector development and capacity building to help position Northerners in the territories to take advantage of Canada's innovation economy. Supports business expansion, growth, productivity and competitiveness, small-scale multi-user community economic infrastructure, and pre-construction readiness.

Who can apply

  • Open to registered organizations (Indigenous and non-Indigenous), social enterprises, businesses, and non-federal entities with an interest in economic development in the North
  • this stream is restricted to for-profit applicants.
  • Projects must be to/in the territories (Yukon, NWT, Nunavut).
