Overview

Allows employers to access a pool of unique and specialized foreign workers for temporary hire when qualified Canadians or permanent residents are not available, to help firms scale up or fill in-demand highly skilled positions on the Global Talent Occupations List.

Who can apply

Employers must demonstrate qualified Canadians or permanent residents are not available, and meet the requirements of category A (referred by a designated partner) or category B (hiring for an occupation on the Global Talent Occupations List) of the Global Talent Stream.
