Overview

Grants covering up to 50% (maximum $15,000) of an Ontario book publishing company's eligible expenses to engage in international business and book market development activities, such as attending international industry markets, sales trips and trade missions.

Who can apply

  • Export-ready book publishers operating in Ontario for at least one year
  • minimum $20,000 in sales revenue from Canadian-authored titles
  • more than 50% of total company sales revenue from book sales
  • at least 50% of titles written by authors who are neither shareholders nor owners
  • minimum 6 Canadian-authored titles in print and at least 2 books signed and/or in production.
  • Activities must take place outside Ontario and focus on international audience/business development.
