Provides up to $250,000 covering up to 50% of eligible project costs for early-stage Canadian technology firms to demonstrate and pilot an innovation in operational environments, proving solutions and validating return on investment for the wider food industry.

Who can apply

  • Early-stage Canadian technology firm
  • incorporated
  • less than $1 million in annual sales in most recent fiscal year
  • demonstrate a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4 to 7
  • project must focus on a post-farm gate solution.
