Direct loans, loan guarantees, structured project financing and investments for private sector companies operating in developing countries (Latin America, the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa) that deliver sustainable social and economic benefits to local communities.

• Must be a private sector entity operating in Latin America, the Caribbean or Sub-Saharan Africa
• generate (or project) cash flow sufficient to repay debt or provide adequate return on equity
• operate in priority sectors such as green growth, agribusiness value chain or financial services
• and be able to impact economic and social development in the host country through job creation, women's economic empowerment, or climate change mitigation/adaptation.
