Financial Support for Aspiring Farmers (Subsidy for young farmers)

Subsidy for young people under the age of 40 in Quebec who wish to start their own agricultural business or join an existing one. The grant amount increases according to the applicant's level of recognized agricultural training, and can be used to improve land, purchase equipment, or acquire agricultural, administration or management training.

Must be domiciled in Québec, at least 18 but under 40 years of age, have recognized agricultural training, hold at least 20% of the operation's shares, have at least one year of relevant agricultural experience, and have a potentially profitable start-up or establishment project.
