Overview

Funding and expert support for eastern Ontario startups to protect, manage, and grow their business through intellectual property, including patent drafting and filing, trademark registration, licensing agreements, industrial design, and copyright registration. This stream is directed at women-owned and Indigenous-owned businesses.

Who can apply

  • Must be a start-up operating as a Canadian-controlled private corporation (CCPC) with head office in eastern Ontario and fewer than 500 employees
  • this stream targets women-owned and Indigenous-owned businesses (per program label).
