Overview

Trade credit insurance from Export Development Canada that protects exporters against non-payment by customers, covering 90% of insured losses if a customer does not pay. Available as short-term (single transaction) or ongoing coverage, with an online application process.

Who can apply

Must extend payment terms of 180 days or less to international customers, and export goods or services directly from Canada, or be involved in the manufacture, design or R&D of the product being sold.
