Overview

Grants of up to $1.5 million covering up to 50% of eligible costs for projects that encourage innovation, collaboration, cluster development, job creation and private sector investment in eastern Ontario. Additional advisory services, environmental compliance approval assistance, talent access support and tax credit information may also be available.

Who can apply

  • Must have at least 3 years of operations/financial statements
  • employ at least 10 people (5 in rural Ontario)
  • commit to creating at least 5 new jobs (or a 30% increase for companies with fewer than 15 employees)
  • invest at least $500,000 in the project ($200,000 in rural Ontario)
  • and be located in, or plan to locate in, a community in eastern Ontario.
