Support for NWT commercial fishers by reducing costs, boosting prices, and promoting job creation and recruitment. Three priority streams: Responsive Incentives and Supports (fuel rebate, volume incentive, equipment support), Increasing Sector Participation (out of territory recruitment incentive, emerging NWT commercial fishers), and Capacity Building (specialized training, staff training, internship support or mentorship).
