Overview

Support and consulting for forestry manufacturers looking to invest in automation, equipment upgrades, strategic growth initiatives, mergers or acquisitions. Loans from $1 million to $25 million must be used strictly to implement a transformation project.

Who can apply

  • Headquarters in Canada
  • forestry manufacturing and services (sawmills, remanufacturing facilities, pulp and paper mills, finished wood product manufacturers)
  • obligations before 2025 met (except sawmills) plus sector-specific criteria
  • finished wood product manufacturers must be subject to tariffs
  • annual revenue of $2 million or more
  • operating 3 years or more
  • a transformation plan is required.
