Overview

Grants to accelerate development of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) infrastructure so companies can incorporate this technology in their Alberta operations. Eligible costs are capital costs such as equipment, structures and monitoring systems, with retroactive eligibility back to January 1, 2022.

Who can apply

  • Projects must capture, transport, store or utilize CO2 and be located in Alberta.
  • Eligible costs are capital costs (equipment, structures, monitoring systems), with retroactive eligibility from January 1, 2022.
  • Operating costs, engineering studies and pilot projects are excluded.
